Track your favorite shows with Wunderlist

October 08, 2013 — Reading time: 2 mins — Comments

For all of us here at 6Wunderkinder, last week marked the end of one of our favorite TV shows, Breaking Bad – don’t even get us started on the finale! Luckily, while some of our favorite shows have come to a close, new ones are right around the corner. Yep, fall doesn’t just mean cooler weather, it also is a signal that our favorite shows are making a return. With so many to keep track of, it can be tough to remember when they are on. That’s where Wunderlist comes in. Here’s a few tips on tracking your favorite TV shows and never missing an episode with Wunderlist:

Create a Shared List dedicated to TV shows

Maybe it’s just us, but the majority of us like to think we have good taste in TV shows – we do have a few Jersey Shore fans, but we don’t really count them. The first thing to do is to head on into Wunderlist and create a new list full of the TV shows you want to watch this season. Oh, and don’t forget to share it with your group, whether it be your roommates, family, or friends. Now everyone can come together and add their favorite shows right to the Shared List.

Set repeating Due Dates so you never miss an episode

Now that we have all of our favorite shows in a shared list, it's time to make sure we don’t forget about them. Setting repeating Due Dates works perfectly for this! Here’s an example of how we use it here around the office: A show many of us are really looking forward to each week is Showtime's Homeland which airs new episodes every Sunday night. Let’s make it clear that NONE of us want to miss an episode of it this season. Cue Due Dates. What we’ve done is set a repeating reminder every Sunday alerting us to watch our show.

Plan TV viewing parties with friends

Is your group of friends a massive fan of Modern Family? Don’t watch it alone. Start planning viewing parties right from a TV show's to-do through Comments. It’s a great way to come together and plan an event, whether it be a Walking Dead party in a friend’s dorm room, How I Met Your Mother marathon at a colleague's house, or a Mad Men 60s themed get-together in your living room. Comments makes it easy to plan together all in one place.

With those tips in mind and Wunderlist at hand, there's no reason to ever miss an episode.
